Spring is here and these crocus are blooming in my garden- oh happy day.
We spent the weekend outdoors enjoying the sunshine and cleaning out the beds from the winter debris, while discovering all the tiny buds and new green shoots that are popping up everywhere. Along with the Crocus, Hellebore and Witch Hazel, the Magnolia is starting to bloom. This time of year makes me so happy, but also a bit sad as I wait all winter for the garden to come alive, and then it seems to happen in a flash. It feels a bittersweet, I would like to slow it down just a bit, make it all last a while longer. But still I can't really be sad as it is all so stunningly beautiful.
