New book I styled-Toe up two at a time socks

I just received Toe Up 2-at-a-Time Socks by Melissa Morgan-Oakes, a sock knitting book full of lovely sock knitting patterns that I styled last year.  Once again I got to work with the wonderfully talented photographer, John Gruen.  I am a knitter, and have been part of a stitch group for the past 7or so years.  We try to meet once a week at a local cafe, though with our busy schedules sometimes weeks go by before we can get together.  We are a varied group: a stage manager, a fine art restorer, a dentist  (who makes the most finely detailed work), an artist -who makes knitted art installations, a physical therapist- who knits at an amazing rate, and a yarn company mgr.- with incredible knitting knowledge.  In our group we have sock fanatics and people who swear they will never knit a sock ( I'm afraid I fall into the last category).  But if I was going to knit socks I would use this book- the idea of being able to knit 2 socks at a time as well as the lovely patterns makes it all seem like a lovely idea.  First though I must finish the 3 other projects I have going.
In the interest of full disclosure- the dog in the picture is my guy, Charlie.
