Books-Lili Diallo, Details

Hey Domino fans this book is for you.  Stylist Lili Diallo who styled some of my favorite shot's for Domino has just published her first book, Details, A Stylist's Secrets to Creating Inspired Interiors- and it is fabulous.  I see so many design books, I open them with great excitement and so often am disappointed.  Yes there might be a few great pictures but are they worth buying?
Lili's book is a treat....... well designed (yet doesn't feel "designed") homes that feel like they are lived in by interesting people with lives that though stylish are not spent lavishly decorating their homes.  Yes, I am sure styling was done for the book ( believe me I have never walked in and shot a space as is, no matter how great), yet they still feel real.
This book reminds me of all the things I love about Living etc and Elle Decor UK, casual, unpretensious yet always stylish.
This was originally shot for Domino.

I would love to know what you think- what draws you into a design book?  What keeps you coming back?  What are some of your favorites?
