I'm back! My New Years resolution was to be better about blogging- well that went down the tubes real quick! Work, life, blah, blah, blah once again. Anyhow here I am again after a few months. A quick catch up with some new work for Country Living magazine and hopefully a few house updates to follow soon. More work plus I've been thrifting quite a bit so lot's to show. So with any luck I'll have a few new post's up in a year or so…. maybe sooner :)
Last fall I headed up north to a sleepy little town to shoot Sawyer Smith and Alex Changs weekend home. Alex is the proprietor of Smith and Chang General Goods in Jersey City, where he stocks a chic mix of vintage goods, and a variety of sustainable goods including their own line of bath products. If your inspired by their style it's the perfect place to check out.
I love the pattern on pattern use of vintage blankets through the house with the simple color palette.
Stylin house, amazing view and adorable baby, what's not to love.
and yes the vintage stove works- so cool.
This is another great space, simple linen bedding with the graphic punch of the blanket along with the knotted rope lamp echoing the blanket border.
